I installed a wireless so called bicycle computer. It is smaller than a matchbox and you put it on the handlebar. The magnet has to be glued to the rim of the wheel. The "reader" can be put on a piece of metalsheet and fastened between the mudguard and the fork on the right side. I used a brand named "Sigma", think it is German. About 50 US $, if I remeber right. Shows miles or kilometers per hour, time, distance and trip. Caution : When installing it I had some troubles cause the instruction (in 6 languages) said the distance between magnet and reader must not be more than 5 millimeter. That was wrong ! The distance must be less than TWO millimeters, a distance so small I can't even think about telling you americans what it is in inches... It is as close you can.

I will have the tank ready next spring, hopefully. Then I'll put up a picture somewhere.
It seems difficult to find a petcock and a lid, however... If anybody out there finds another tank that also fits with small modifications, let me know.
